Teo Chee Shi

Singapore

A seasoned finance executive and business advisor with more than 35 years of international experience across Asia, Europe and North America. He brings extensive expertise in corporate finance, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, business restructuring, governance and strategic transformation.


Big Four trained, he has held senior leadership positions including Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary, advising boards, shareholders and management teams across listed companies, multinational corporations, private enterprises and family-owned businesses. His experience includes fundraising, transaction execution, IPO preparation, financial turnaround, due diligence and operational improvement across sectors including manufacturing, energy, automotive, construction, logistics, technology and professional services.


Since 2018, he has advised entrepreneurs, SMEs and international investors on capital structuring, cross-border expansion, Singapore market entry, corporate governance and sustainable business growth.


As Co-Founder of STIDE, he contributes deep financial discipline, commercial judgement and transaction experience to the firm’s private credit and structured finance advisory work, helping clients strengthen financial readiness, develop credible funding strategies and execute complex cross-border transactions.

Edwin Wong

Edwin Wong

Edwin Wong is Co-Founder of STIDE, where he leads the firm’s operations and business development activities. He is responsible for supporting the execution of STIDE’s strategic priorities, developing commercial relationships and coordinating client engagements across the firm’s private credit and structured finance advisory platform.


Before establishing STIDE, Edwin worked with Ewerkz Capital in a project financing advisory role, supporting sponsors, developers, corporates and project owners in assessing financeability, evaluating capital requirements and developing more credible financing approaches.


His experience includes reviewing project fundamentals, structural considerations and execution issues that may affect financing outcomes. He has also supported stakeholder coordination, preparation of financing materials and the development of disciplined transaction strategies designed to improve project readiness for lenders and capital providers.


This background has given Edwin practical exposure to project finance from commercial, structural and execution perspectives. His work is grounded in transaction discipline, financing readiness and solution-oriented advisory support.


At STIDE, Edwin applies this experience to business development, client origination and operational execution, helping clients clarify funding requirements, strengthen transaction preparation and navigate the early stages of the financing process with greater structure and commercial focus.

Clarence Tan is a seasoned entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in international trade, cross-border commerce and digital-asset settlement operations.


He brings extensive commercial and execution experience across Singapore, Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Mainland China, the United Kingdom and the United States. His established regional network supports cross-border market access, commercial partnerships and business development, including facilitating entry into Greater China through Hong Kong and Shenzhen.


Clarence has practical experience in digital-asset and fiat settlement corridors involving USDT, RMB and HKD. His work focuses on designing efficient settlement workflows, reducing transaction delays and foreign-exchange leakage, and strengthening operational and counterparty risk controls.


As Director of Finance and Digital Assets at STIDE, Clarence supports the firm’s work in cross-border transaction execution, liquidity planning, digital-asset settlement considerations and regional business development, with an emphasis on commercial practicality, regulatory awareness and disciplined risk management.

Thailand

Surachart Prachapitak is Thailand Partner, supporting the firm’s market development, client origination and strategic relationship-building activities in Thailand.


An entrepreneur and business network leader, Surachart brings practical experience in developing commercial initiatives, building industry relationships and coordinating stakeholders across Thailand’s private-sector ecosystem. He has been publicly associated with Thai Spa Academy and has held leadership roles within industry organisations connected to herbal innovation and sustainability-related business development.


His experience provides STIDE with local market perspective and access to business communities across Thailand. He supports the identification of prospective clients, project sponsors and strategic partners, while helping the firm understand local commercial conditions, stakeholder expectations and sector-specific considerations.


As Thailand Partner, Surachart works with STIDE’s advisory team to facilitate initial client engagement, assess potential financing requirements and support the coordination of Thailand-based transactions. His role includes helping businesses communicate their funding objectives, organise relevant information and prepare for more structured engagement with financing and advisory stakeholders.

Martin Chaichayangkurn

Martin serves as Research Credit Analyst at STIDE, supporting the firm’s private credit research, credit assessment and transaction evaluation activities. He conducts structured research on prospective borrowers, industries, markets and financing transactions. His work includes reviewing financial performance, business fundamentals, debt capacity, cash-flow resilience, capital structures and key credit risks that may affect financing viability.


He also supports the preparation of credit research, borrower assessments, sector analyses and transaction-related materials used in STIDE’s advisory and financing-readiness processes. His responsibilities also include identifying material risk factors, examining repayment capacity and evaluating commercial, financial and market developments relevant to private credit transactions.


Martin contributes to STIDE’s ongoing coverage of Southeast Asian private credit markets by monitoring sector trends, borrower conditions and developments that may influence credit quality, financing structures and lender appetite.


In his role, Martin applies disciplined research and evidence-based analysis to help strengthen STIDE’s assessment of financing opportunities and support more informed, risk-aware transaction strategies. His work forms part of the broader advisory process and does not constitute independent credit approval, investment advice or a lending decision.
